An Introduction To The Hall of Stories

Before we start this tale, we'd like you to get an understanding of The Hall Of Stories...

Readers live in the Hall Of Stories. They don't need to eat or sleep because they live off the lives of the books they 'Read'. Well, I say Read, but it's really like they're watching the story play out. Each Reader has a book that is their story, and if their book gets too far away from them or is destroyed, the reader dies.

Each Reader also has a jewel. Their jewel can be inserted into a special slot in a book so that they can 'Read' the book.

None of the readers have left the hall like EVER though. Unknowing to them, a danger is growing. In fact, danger is growing among them too...

Author Bios

Madelyn Bergren has been writing for… an unverifiable amount of time, though probably somewhere between 5 and 7 years. Her other hobbies include reading, drawing, spending time her cat (Charlie Bear), sewing, cleaning (a newfound fascination), and talking about her hobbies more than actually doing them. She often wishes that she she could live in the 1800’s because she likes the way they talk, but settles instead for randomly uses old words that nobody uses nowadays and frequently lapsing into an English accent. Remember never to mention the words “cats” or “books” in her presence or you will be subject to an eternal rant. Her characters in The Hall Of Stories include Neva, Raydil, Caylay, and Lili from Escaping The Throne.

Samantha Aust, or her pen name, Luna Ravensneck, has been writing for four years, and making up stories for much longer than that. She loves to read, write, and listen to music, almost always having earbuds in her ears and Spotify or iTunes drifting from her iPad. She will rant about her favorite books and movies, even if the other person she's talking to has no idea what she's talking about. She still cannot spell unconsious, even with the MANY times she has knocked out her characters. Her characters in The Hall of Stories are Luna, Draco, and Ben, from Wings of a Dragon, which she's currently working on her second draft of the first book.

Maddy K, or MK, as she is known to the Writers' Society, has been writing for about three years. Besides writing, she loves talking about chickens (and won't stop talking about them when she gets started), hoarding books, HILARIOUS conversations, and frequently makes references to different videos, books, and movies that amuse her just a little too much. Her favorite words include defenestration and wonderful. As for a favorite book, she never can say. Her characters that are included in The Hall of Stories are Leah and Phoebe, from The Shadow Master's Heir. (Or Hair, depending if she can actually speel that day.)
